The Chambéry – Geneva Airport route
The route follows the A41 motorway via Annecy, then crosses the Genevois to Cointrin. Allow an hour and a half in normal conditions. The border crossing is usually smooth, but weekday evenings can add twenty to thirty minutes on the approach to Geneva.
Motorway tolls and the Swiss motorway vignette are extra, with your prior agreement.
French sector or Swiss sector
Geneva airport has two sides. The French sector lets you enter and leave without going through Switzerland, which simplifies some flights. The Swiss sector serves most airlines. Give us your airline and flight number: we drop you at the right place.
Carry a valid identity document, national ID card or passport. Checks are possible even though the border is open.
What to tell us
Your full pick-up address, your check-in or landing time, the airline, the flight number, the number of passengers and your luggage. For an arrival, we track your flight and adjust the pick-up at no extra cost. For a morning flight, book the day before at the latest.
