The vehicle
The vehicle has a rear ramp. The wheelchair is secured to anchoring points and the passenger is belted in. Manual and electric wheelchairs can both be carried, within the size and weight limits of the vehicle.
What to tell us when you book
- The type, weight and dimensions of the wheelchair.
- Whether you can transfer to a seat or need to travel in your wheelchair.
- Any companion, luggage and equipment travelling with you.
- Steps, lift, threshold or other access constraints at the pick-up address.
These details decide whether the adapted vehicle is available and suitable on the date you ask for.
Availability
The availability of the adapted vehicle, and its compatibility with your wheelchair, must be confirmed before your trip. A photo on this website does not guarantee availability. Book as early as you can, especially for airport arrivals during the ski season.
Airports, stations and ski resorts
We collect you at Chambéry, Lyon Saint-Exupéry or Geneva airport, or at Chambéry train station, and drive you to your accommodation, including in the ski resorts. Give us your flight or train number: we follow any delay. Regulated taxi fares apply, as for any other ride, and your price is confirmed before departure.
Medical transport in France
If you live in France and your doctor has prescribed a transport, it may be covered by the French Assurance Maladie. This service is described in French on our wheelchair transport page.
